Microspheres

Microspheres South Africa has been recovering, processing and distributing cenospheres locally and abroad since 1999. Cenospheres are hollow ceramic microspheres that are a by product of coal burning power plants. The colour and physical properties of cenospheres depend on the composition of the coal used and the furnace temperature of the power plant. “We are fortunate that our conditions are such that near-white, high quality cenospheres are formed, and have been consistently formed for the past decade.
Cenospheres have undergone many tests which has proven their status as having a valuable contribution to manufacturing.
